One of the core values under our mission statement is to positively contribute to our community.  When we created our website to help entrepreneurs, we decided one way to contribute to our community was to give a percentage of our online sales to a different charity each month.  We make this donation on behalf of all of our clients.  We have updated our website to share with you the charities that we’ve selected each month and a link to their website so you can learn more about the charity’s mission.  We hope that you will get involved and share your time, talents and resources with those charities that inspire you.  

I’d like to share with you one of the particular projects that we contributed to – Shower Power.  Tempe Leadership is a 9 month leadership program that requires each class to create a class project as part of the graduation criteria.  The current Class XXV looked at the needs of the community and decided to assist the homeless.  Specifically, they learned that one of the biggest issues facing homeless people was something that each of us takes for granted - the ability to take a shower.  And a shower is a necessary starting place to help people get on their feet so they can take the next steps in finding solutions to their dilemmas.  Class XXV decided to design and build a portable shower unit that can be moved to various homeless shelters to give the homeless community an opportunity to shower.  They met and exceeded their goals and Shower Power, as the project was dubbed, was unveiled on May 4, 2010.  The project continues to need donations to support the ongoing maintenance and operations.  For more information, check out http://www.showerpower.org/
